visiting the studio
We encourage the use of public transport, cycling and walking where possible.
by train
Beckenham Hill and Beckenham Junction Stations are a short walk from the park grounds and go across South East London to Blackfriars, London Bridge, and Victoria.
by bus
Numerous buses stop at Beckenham Junction, which is a 10–15-minute walk to the park.
The 54 bus stops outside two of the park gates: ‘Highland Croft’ stop is by the Braeside gate and ‘Beckenham Hill’ stop is outside the Southend Lodge gate.
cycling
Beckenham Place Park is within easy cycling distance for much of south-east London. Cycle racks can be found in the courtyard and outside the Mansion.
by car
Limited parking may be available in Pay & Display Beckenham Place Park’s car park. We would strongly recommend using public transport, cycling or visiting us on foot, as the car park fills up quickly.
accessibility
The art studio is not accessible by wheelchair. It is on the lower ground floor of a 250-year-old graded mansion house. The ground floor of the Mansion is accessible for wheelchair users.
